On April 13, 2025, the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung (NOZ) published an Interview with Sebastian Ebert on „Why saving is so hard.“ He talked about psychological foundations of the underlying self-control problem, and also mentioned several techniques to improve on one’s own saving skills, such as the changing of habits. Later that month he was live in the ARD Morgenmagazin in Cologne, giving two interviews about successful saving and consumer pricing, as well as related behavioral concepts such as time-inconsistency, pre-commitment, and attention hurdles.
